Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy

Empowered Mind-Body Therapy and Isha Health: Holistic Mental Health Care Collaboration

We are thrilled to announce a collaboration between Empowered Mind-Body Therapy and Isha Health, a leader in at-home ketamine therapy for depression, anxiety, and PTSD. This partnership unites our commitment to holistic mental health solutions.

The Power of Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) significantly enhances traditional psychotherapy by leveraging neuroplasticity, catalyzing the therapeutic process. This method is particularly effective for patients who did not respond to the traditional treatment. For example, it showed a response rate of over 80% for patients with treatment resistant depression. KAP opens a window of heightened brain plasticity, allowing for more profound, lasting psychological change. The combination of ketamine’s neurological effects in combination with psychotherapy creates a powerful synergy, accelerating healing and personal growth, making it a vital tool in modern mental health care.

How It Works: Collaborative Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)

Patients at Empowered Mind-Body Therapy eligible for additional support will be referred to Isha Health for ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP). Here’s the process:

  1. Telemedicine Evaluation: Isha Health conducts a medical evaluation via telemedicine to assess suitability for KAP.
  1. Prescription and Delivery: If deemed a good candidate, a prescription is sent to a compounding pharmacy, which then ships the medication directly to the patient’s home.
  1. Coordinated Care: Clinicians from both Empowered Mind-Body Therapy and Isha Health collaborate to offer personalized KAP treatment.
  1. Monitoring and Support: Isha Health clinicians closely monitor progress and safety using remote monitoring tools, providing ongoing support through direct messages, emails, and video chats as needed.
  1. Ongoing Psychotherapy: The patient’s therapist at Empowered Mind-Body continues to provide psychotherapy, ensuring a comprehensive approach to mental health care.

Cost of the treatment

Medical evaluation and follow up: $350

Medication: $50-100 for a monthly supply depending on where you live and the dose needed,

Psychotherapy: $225 per hour
