Darryl’s therapeutic approach aligns with the philosophy of Collaboration. He does not claim to be an expert on anyone’s life, rather, he prefers coming together with authenticity and transparency and pull from both clinician and client’s sources of knowledge in hopes of achieving therapeutic goals.
Darryl passionately believes in exploring his client’s identity development to understand the challenges they are experiencing. Including their cultural context, values, and beliefs systems. He is adept at exploring whether these values and beliefs are in alignment with how his clients live their life. These challenges can be in the form of depression, anxiety, identity issues, and relationship conflict.
Darryl’s goal is to extend his knowledge and continue to learn from people of the community through the process of collaboration with the hope of understanding one another.
